Program for Teachers of Spanish as a Foreign Language

Principal aim: Train teachers who wish to teach Spanish as a foreign language.
Profile of targeted students: This course is designed both for native and non-native speakers of Spanish, who teach the language abroad and have a sound mastery of the language.
Length of study and periods when the program is available: The program lasts for five weeks from Mondays to Fridays, with six hours of class and observation per day, making a total of 150 hours. On completion of the course, students will obtain nine university credits. The program is available in the periods WINTER I and WINTER II. Subjects contained in the program Pedagogical and descriptive grammar, methodology, class observation, hands-on practice and Mexican culture.
